Of course, Capcom also has Street Fighter and Dead Rising which are solid as well. Probably not but who knows: Sony could somehow buy out Capcom for a few billion but that would be a massive investment but would get them Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, and Devil May Cry which have all seen major critical and commercial success lately. Possible to happen: Given PS and Disney fight over Spider-Man, I could see Sony making a deal with Disney that lets them have Spider-Man for a certain amount of Movies while they get to develop/publish a certain amount of Star Wars games. ![]() If Returnal is a big hit I can only assume Sony is considering a payout for them. IMO Likely to happen: I can see them buying Mousemarque given they are making Returnal and made Resogun and Alienation. I might even approach Epic Games over Unreal Tournament as well, Epic aren't doing anything with it, it's collecting dust under Fortnite and Unreal Engine 5, Epic sold Gears without any issue so. Yeah, Bluepoint is a given, Microsoft oddly hasn't approached them either but, yeah, if I were Sony Is be watching Ember Labs closely and fighting off any approaching suits from Microsoft or Nintendo ensuring Kena stays PlayStation exclusive, forever. The Castlevania reboot (copying then popular God of War tanked), but Kojima was well on his way to rebooting Silent Hill to great success, a play Capcom knabed in order to reboot their own big franchise. Rumors also have it that Sony are in the best position and likely to acquire Konamis assets for Silent Hill, Metal Gear, and Castlevania allowing Kojima to have his babies back if he wants to resume them, if at all, or let others try their hand. ![]() The animation quality and talent alone has Sony written all over it and Kena is clearly a game you wouldn't want your competition to knab either. Ember Labs have a LOT of talent, if I were Microsoft or especially Nintendo, I'd be getting ready for a buy. They should be seriously looking at Ember Labs.
